- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
For the Wrap:
- Whole wheat or regular pita bread
- Fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions)
- Hummus
- Pickles (optional
Directions
For the Falafel:
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking soda, salt, and pepper. Blend until the mixture forms a coarse paste.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add flour, and mix well. The mixture should be able to hold together when shaped into balls.
- Form small balls or patties with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
